Both of these days had pretty intense workouts in the morning - on Wednesday I had a 6 mile Yasso 800s workout and yesterday was my 13.5 mile long run. I also had some pretty insane scheduling on both days and I don't think I refueled (food and drink) properly after those workouts. Especially on Wednesday when my net calories for the day was below 1500.
I'm thinking that since I'm getting to a more intense part of the marathon training that I probably need more calories per day. I've read that it is not wise to try to lose weight during marathon training and I see why. I need a lot more food energy than I did before!
So, starting next week I'm going to up my net calorie target to about 2000 calories per day (it's currently in the 1600-1700 range). Since I have lost most of the weight that I wanted to, I should be fine doing this...I wouldn't be surprised if I'm still losing weight given the amount of miles per week I'm putting in! And if I'm gaining weight, I can always bump the calories down a bit.

Sometimes that happens to me when I am tired, like my body is telling me to take a day off.
