Perhaps it is time to consult a Sports Doctor, eh?
Luckily, the pain isn't excruciating. I was able to finish the run and the pain goes away within a few minutes after I stop running. I just want to be able to run more than 3 miles at a time again!
It has been over 4 weeks since my marathon and I have only run a little over 18 miles in that span. A few months ago, I ran more than that before 9am on a Saturday morning! Needless to say, I'm a bit discouraged...

Don't be discouraged! Your body has been through a lot over the past few months. (Maybe it's just going on strike now? :)
Either way, I'm sure you'll feel back to normal soon!
Stop being a wuss and sign up for another half marathon. Set a goal for yourself of under 2 hours. It would require a lot of speedwork, but you can do it if you work hard. I think that would provide the motivation you need to get going again--both with running and with the blog.
Mr (or Ms) Anonymous,
Stop being a wuss and sign your name!
I have my sights on two or three half marathons in the second half of the year - one in late July, one in September and then perhaps another one in late October / early November.
Although I could run through the pain, I've spoken to enough people 20 years older than me who can't run anymore due to injuries they ignored.
I'll gladly give up a few races this year to make running a life-long hobby.
